The S.S. Keewatin is the last remaining Edwardian era passenger steamship in the world and is the sole survivor of the Canadian Pacific Railway Great Lakes fleet.

The 2020 $30.00 fine silver S.S. Keewatin coin is of proof quality and is authorized by the Government of Canada. It has been expertly struck by the Royal Canadian Mint and has a limited worldwide mintage of only 3,000 pieces. The coins are made of 62.69 grams (2 troy ounces) of 99.99% of pure silver with a diameter of 50 millimeters. They were designed by Canadian artist Matt Conacher. The reverse design features a starboard bow view of the S.S. Keewatin and the obverse features a port stern view and the framed effigy of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II was a work by Susanna Blunt. The coins are encapsulated and packaged in Royal Canadian Mint display boxes and each comes with a numbered Mintage Certificate of Authenticity. The coins retail for $189.95 each and being pure silver they are fully tax exempt.
